Serve

It Starts with a Conversation

Jesus said, “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant” (Mark 10:43). At the heart of the Christian life is the call to serve—following the example of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45). At our church, we believe that serving one another is not just something we do—it's a way of becoming more like Jesus.

Serving is also one of the ways we grow together in community. Whether it’s helping out at a fellowship event, preparing a meal for someone in need, assisting with a community outreach effort, or offering a ride to a neighbor—there are countless ways to care for others and participate in the life of the church.

We also recognize that some roles—such as those involving teaching, leadership, or working with children—require a deeper level of commitment and are reserved for church members. This isn’t meant to be a barrier, but a reflection of our care for one another and our desire to steward well the people and responsibilities entrusted to us.

If you're curious about how you might serve, we invite you to begin with a simple step: it starts with a conversation. Let us get to know you, hear your story, and explore how your gifts and availability might align with the needs of the church and our community.
There's a place for you here. And there's joy to be found in discovering that you are needed—not just as a participant, but as a vital part of what God is doing among us.
