Logan Saunders
Elder
I was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia as the oldest of seven children (yes, I know that’s a lot!). I grew up in a nominally-religious home, going to church because that’s what “good” people do. I was a rule follower and strove to be a good kid and have a good reputation. In high school, I started attending a new church in the area and through the preaching of the Word, my eyes were opened to my sin, God’s judgement, and my need for Jesus Christ to atone for my sin. I repented of my sin and put my faith in Jesus Christ. It was soon after that I began to feel a calling to the pastoral ministry, with a strong desire to preach and teach God’s Word.
I went on to major in Religion in college, graduating from James Madison University in 2015 and receive my Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2017. From September 2018-May 2019, I received further training through The NETS Center For Church Planting and Revitalization in Williston, VT. By God’s grace, I had many Godly mentors throughout these years who continued to teach me about ministry and model the responsibility to shepherd the flock of God faithfully. I am married to Lindsay, whom I met in college, and we have four beautiful sons, Luke, Jake, Cole and Graham. Some of my hobbies include reading, politics, and good coffee (yes, I am a coffee snob). I also enjoy meeting with others and discussing the Bible, theology, and how these things apply to life. Please do not be hesitant to reach out to me to schedule time together!

John Landry

I am proud to be a lifelong resident of Biddeford and live there with Michele, my wife of 22 years. I graduated from Biddeford High School and Bentley College and have spent my professional career in the finance field for a number of companies in Southern Maine and New Hampshire. I currently work for Nyxoah , a rapidly growing medical technology company.
I began attending Saco Bay Community Church after our children were born and, through the ministry of SBCC and Pastor Ken Kirby and his wife, Sue, came to know the Lord in 2004. Since then, I have served in a variety of ministries at Saco Bay including the Admin Team, Financial Secretary, Sunday School teacher, and usher. I began serving as an Elder in 2015. My wife and I have two children and two energetic cats, Loki and Lupa. Michele and I are Boston sports fans and especially BIG New England Patriots fans. If the Patriots are playing a game, you can pretty much rest assured we are cheering them on! In addition to spending time with my family, I enjoy golf and spending as much time as I can outside – especially during the summer months.

Ron Sullivan

I am honored to be a Maine native – born and raised in Bangor. I was educated in the Bangor public school system and Husson University. My wife, Cheryl, and I moved to Southern Maine in 1986 to continue my now 47-year career with Hannaford Bros. Co. (Does anybody stay with the same company that long anymore?) I have spent most of those years in retail management and have served customers in many of the Greater Portland communities as well as Biddeford, Saco, Kennebunk, Sanford and Waterboro.
I am forever grateful to the Lord for the way He led me to understand and accept the grace and forgiveness found in the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was through the ministry of Saco Bay Community Church and a dear friend at work that God worked most profoundly. That day when Jesus saved me was in October 1992 and nothing has been the same since! I have had the honor to serve in various roles in His church, including trustee, deacon, Sunday School teacher, small group leader, and elder over the past 20+ years. I have many times been reminded by scripture that I cannot do any of it in my own strength…Jesus tells us, ““I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5) I believe that God has grown and shaped my ministry over the years – not to stack up accomplishments or to add anything to my resume, but to serve God by loving and serving His people.
Cheryl and I have 3 beautiful daughters, all married to great guys, and we have been richly blessed with 5 grandchildren. My chief hobby is my family, but I also spend some of my time cultivating my love of baseball and the Red Sox – whether they play well or they break my heart!
