How it all started...
Saco Bay Community Church has been meeting since 1961. Our first meetings were at Saco City Hall...and within a few short years, we had purchased our property on Ferry Road and have been here ever since. The mission of SBCC has never changed in 60+ years...it is this...THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.
We desire to know Christ and make Christ known by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection for sinners, seeing people trust in Him alone for salvation, and grow in Him for the rest of their lives through the power of the Holy Spirit in them.
SBCC is on mission to see the cities of Saco, Biddeford and Old Orchard Beach transformed by this Gospel.

Going beyond our doors...
At Saco Bay Community Church, we seek to joyfully serve our neighbors in Saco, Biddeford, and Old Orchard Beach, inviting our entire church family to engage in this mission. We recognize the importance of meeting immediate needs—offering compassion and care where it's most needed. But we also know that true transformation comes through addressing the deepest need of all: the need for a Savior. As we serve, we desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus, sharing not only acts of kindness but the life-changing message of the gospel. Together, we want to see our community renewed by His redeeming love.

At Saco Bay Community Church, we are passionate about seeing lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ in Saco, Biddeford, and Old Orchard Beach. As we seek to share the hope of Christ with our neighbors, we are equally committed to investing deeply in the spiritual growth of our church family. Through meaningful Bible studies, small groups, opportunities to serve, and a culture of genuine care for one another, we desire to be a community where faith flourishes and lives are renewed by God’s love. Together, we press forward in our mission to make disciples and see our community transformed by His grace.
